摘要: This article presents a method for the synthesis of regional renewable energy supply chains, based on Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP). addresses challenges presented by biomass resources. The main are distributive and varied availabilities regarding both location time. work also aims to maximise economically viable utilisation resources, accounting competition between food production. A four-layer chain superstructure has been developed, which includes harvesting, preparation, core processing distribution products. considered system’s boundaries involve region, is then divided into zones optimising conversion operations transportation flows. An MILP model formulated with profit maximisation as optimisation criterion. environmental impact evaluated carbon footprint. sensitivity optimal solutions analysed different regions’ sizes, costs, pre-processing alternatives co-production energy.
