摘要: This article examines ageing services in the United States, which are provided and financed through a mixed economy of care that includes government, voluntary sector, private market. Because substantial unmet needs, poorly coordinated systems, social economic disparities among older adults social-work have an important role to play overcoming barriers optimal functioning emotional well-being later life. Existing evidence suggests ability work meet needs growing population is hampered by insufficient numbers workers with adequate training competence ageing. The analyses discusses recent advances education States designed produce greater ageing-competent professionals, including initiatives aging-related curriculum development, training, organisational scholarship.
