摘要: Estimating the generation of e-waste in governorates is critically needed for sustainable and environmentally sound management Jordan. The main objectives present study are to quantify evaluate annual all Jordan disposal practices. comprises information as classified by European Union Directive including six categories (16 United Nations University key items). survey targeted 15,883 households (12.52% females 87.48% males), where primary data on methods were gathered, assessed, quantified. Subsequently, survey-based collected from sample have been extrapolated an inventory using ArcGIS mapping. study-extrapolated findings reveal that ~8,735,187 items (13 ktons) had turned into discarded 2018 12 Moreover, dumping still dominant method practiced 58.4% other practices showed granting waste EEE others has share 16.6%; selling (10.7%); delivering recycling (6.8%); represented 7.4%. Furthermore, played a vital role awareness dissemination since modeled shown online Department Statistics, through link ( https://arcg.is/1KzvjO ). Finally, challenges, barriers, prospects explored study.
