Investigations of aerodynamics of Tesla bladeless microturbines

摘要: The paper presents an analysis of a Tesla bladeless turbine for co-generating micro-power plant heat capacity 20 kW, which operates in organic Rankine cycle with low-boiling medium. Numerical calculations the flow several models are performed range design parameters. Results investigations exhibit interesting features distribution parameters within interdisk space. efficiency depends on many parameters, including pressure, temperature and velocity conditions, rotational speed rotor as well number, diameter, distance between disks state disk surface and, finally, number arrangement supply nozzles. calculated efficiences investigated show that best obtained solutions can be competitive compared classical small bladed turbines.
