摘要: Previous studies have assigned 88 human rhinovirus (HRV) serotypes to major and minor receptor groups. Extension of these include the remaining 14 unassigned indicated that 13 belong group since their infection HeLa cells is completely blocked by a monoclonal antibody recognizes receptor. This result indicates now accounts for 91 102 known serotypes, while contains 10 serotypes. One serotype, HRV-87, appears utilize neither nor may represent third group. HRV-87 attachment cannot be other displays binding tropism similar but distinct from viruses. Unlike requires presence sialic acid on cellular receptors.
