摘要: Line‐broadening effects in Mossbauer spectra have been studied for a series of paramagnetic trivalent iron compounds. In general, the broadenings observed are temperature independent and approximately correlated with average spacing between neighboring atoms. The line broadening these compounds is therefore attributed to magnetic hyperfine interactions which partially narrowed by electron spin—spin relaxation. This interpretation supported further observation that one compounds, ferric acetylacetonate, exhibits resolved structure when it diluted glassy matrix.
