摘要: State-of-the-art OCR/ICR algorithms and software are the result of large-scale experiments on accuracy OCR systems proper selection size distribution training sets. The key factor in improving technology is degradation models. While it a leading-edge tool for processing conventional printed materials, model now faces additional challenges as appearance recent years new imaging media, definitions text information, need to process low quality document images. In addition discussing these this paper, we present well-developed models suggest some directions further study. Particular attention paid restoration enhancement degraded single-sided or multi-sided images which suffer from bleed-through shadow-through.
