摘要: The effects of stirring current and frequency on the microstructure semisolid AlCu2.4 alloy prepared by electromagnetic (EMS) were investigated. microstructural evolution partial remelting semi-solid under different currents, frequencies, isothermal holding time was also Results showed that with increased frequency, microstructures evolved from coarse dendrites to fine, small, quasi-globular solid particles uniformly distributed among eutectic. Moreover, after remelting, these became smaller more spherical evenly frequency. When parameters 30 A Hz, average grain size approximately 80 μm shape factor about 0.76. During both particle degree spheroidization constantly prolonged because Ostwald ripening. coarsening rate constant EMS 567 μm3s−1 at 590◦C. Comparison between present work other literature results indicated associated prior as well composition.
