Extraction and cleanup methods of dioxins in house dust from two cities in Japan using accelerated solvent extraction and a disposable multi-layer silica-gel cartridge.

摘要: A simple and rapid method for the extraction cleanup of dioxins from house dust was developed using an accelerated solvent (ASE) a multi-layer silica-gel cartridge. It found that WHO-TEQ levels extracted obtained by both conventional soxhlet ASE were almost equal, when data methods compared. As method, cartridge yielded higher dioxin recoveries than alkaline digestion method. The average values in Kumagaya city Sendai Japan (Sendai is bigger with respect to population industry), 15.6 pg TEQ/g (8.6-26.0 TEQ/g, n=5, city) 16.0 (5.9-30.5 city), respectively.
