摘要: AbstractIn Part II of this study, a new formulation the spectral energy budget moist available potential (MAPE) and kinetic is derived. Compared to previous formulations, there are three main improvements: (i) Lorenz extended into general atmosphere, (ii) water vapor hydrometeors taken account, (iii) it formulated in nonhydrostatic framework. Using formulation, mesoscale MAPE spectra idealized mei-yu front system simulated I further analyzed.At mature stage, upper troposphere lower stratosphere also show distinct transition mesoscale: they develop an approximately −3 slope for wavelengths longer than 400 km − shorter wavelengths.
