摘要: A full-duplex optical single sideband (OSSB) modulated radio-over-fiber (ROF) system with centralized light source is proposed and demonstrated. The can realize centralization based on reuse, which not only avoids the use of a specific in base station (BS) but also reduces signal distortion due to bidirectional fiber transmission. Using simple filtering scheme BS, OSSB modulations for both downstream upstream signals are achieved, solves power fading problem induced by dispersion. In addition, no frequency up/down-conversion required leading simplified configuration. An experiment carried out. Performance established 18 GHz ROF transmission through 20 km mode (SMF) investigated. results verify that architecture good candidate future high-speed low-cost networks.
