Can Spiritual Intelligence affect Professionalism in Medical Faculty Members

摘要: Introduction:Regarding to the importance of spiritual intelligence and professionalism infaculty development, this study aimed determine level spiritualintelligence, professional development leadership, performanceof responsibilities as two components professionalism, therelationship between professionalism.Methods:This is a correlation cross-sectional with 160 medical faculty members assubjects, which was defined base on stratified probability sampling in one ofthe universities Iran. King’s modified intelligencequestionnaire teaching competency self assessment instrument AlabamaUniversity were used. Statistical tests such t-test, two-way ANOVA, Mann-Whitney, Kruskal–Wallis, spearman regressions applied analyze.P-value <0.05 considered significant. Results:The results showed that mean score 63±1.2,which classifies moderate. The median andleadership 9 range 4 12; 17 5 20. There wasa significant relationship performance ofprofessional (rs=0.23,p=0.003). no spiritualintelligence leadership (rs=0.13, p=0.11). Conclusion:We found selfassessed professionalresponsibilities dimension, indicating can be thebasis for promotion.
