摘要: Abstract In a bid to develop separator with improved thermal shrinkage that critically affects internal short-circuit failures of lithium-ion batteries, we demonstrate new approach, which is based on introducing microporous composite coating layers onto both sides polyethylene (PE) separator. The consist alumina (Al 2 O 3 ) nanoparticles and polyvinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene (PVdF-HFP) gel polymer electrolytes. structure the considered crucial factor governing electrochemical performance separators. determined by controlling phase inversion, specifically solvent–nonsolvent miscibility, in solutions. To quantitatively identify effect three different nonsolvents are chosen decreasing order solubility parameter ( δ difference against solvent (acetone,  = 20 MPa 1/2 ), respectively water  = 48 MPa butyl alcohol  = 29 MPa isopropyl  = 24 MPa ). becomes more developed increase not only nonsolvent content but also between acetone nonsolvent. Based this observation, investigate influence morphological variations
