摘要: The solvation energy of hard spherical ions immersed in dipolar sphere solvents is investigated as a function ion diameter. We apply both the mean and linearized hypernetted‐chain approximations show that for physically realistic size theories give qualitatively similar results. obtained sum two competing terms: UID, direct ion–solvent interaction energy, which negative, UDD, change solvent–solvent per at infinite dilution. UDD found to be positive make an important contribution all diameters.
