摘要: Eclipse timing variations observed from the post-common-envelope binary (PCEB) NN Ser offer strong evidence in favour of circumbinary planets existing around PCEBs. If real, these may be accompanied by a disc dust. We here present ALMA detection flux at 1.3 mm Ser, which is likely due to thermal emission dust mass ∼0.8 ± 0.2 M_⊕. performed simulations history determine possible origins this dust, and conclude that most origin is, fact, common-envelope material was not expelled system instead formed disc. These discs have been predicted theory but previously remained undetected. While presence does prove existence it adds credibility possibility forming ‘second-generation’ scenario.
