Effect of Ultrasonic Flexural Vibration on Solidification Structure and Mechanical Properties of Large-Size 35CrMoV Cast Ingot

摘要: In order to improve the performances of large-size 35CrMoV cast ingot, ultrasonic flexural vibration was guided into steel melt through L-shaped waveguide rod during solidification, and effects on macrostructure, microstructure, mechanical properties ingot were investigated. It is found that columnar crystal zone has disappeared composed equiaxed crystals present in ingot. The size grains treated by are significantly smaller than conventional distribution ferrite matrix structure also more uniform tensile strength increased 3.14%∼17.12%, elongation 39.13%∼287.50% compared with at different positions.
