摘要: Summary Scabies is a ubiquitous and contagious skin disease caused by the parasitic mite Sarcoptes scabiei Epidemiological studies have identified scabies as causative agent for secondary infections Staphylococcus aureus Streptococcus pyogenes. This an important notion, such bacterial can lead to serious downstream life-threatening complications. As complement system first line of host defence that confronts invading pathogens, both bacteria produce large array molecules inhibit cascades. It hypothesised inhibitors may play role in providing favourable micro-environment establishment infections. review aims bring together current literature on inhibition mites associated with discuss proposed molecular link between co-infections.
