Average mean based feature extraction for image retrieval

摘要: This paper aims to improve the effectiveness of retrieving images on basis color content by Color averaging technique. In this paper, a new technique feature extraction based relative mean is proposed. Here, initially normalizes value into binary form reduce computational complexity and increase speed retrieval. Later, values are represented as hexadecimal strings stored in database. The proposed tested generic image database indexed Results obtained compared with existing memory utilization query execution time. experimental results show that gives better performance terms higher precision recall less than conventional techniques.
