摘要: The results of neuro-ophthalmological examination, visual evoked responses (VER) to pattern reversal stimulation and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis were compared in 25 patients with myelopathy unknown etiology without subjective symptoms involvement CNS outside the spinal cord. Delayed latencies VER indicating a disseminated disease found 76 per cent patients. In 64 patients, CSF showed abnormalities similar those MS. Pathological findings at clinical eye examination consistent such an was 36 cases. It is suggested that large proportion suffer from demyelinating disorder By combination neuro-ophthalmological, examinations can be established reasonable certainty, more troublesome investigations as myelographies angiographies may restricted whom still remains unclear.
