摘要: Abstract: This chapter describes the fundamentals of grain growth and densification, related microstructural evolution during liquid phase sintering (LPS). Two different types behavior, stationary (conventionally called normal) nonstationary in terms relative size distribution, their theoretical treatments are described. Particular emphasis is placed on prediction with suggestion general principles LPS. Fundamental differences between two densification mechanisms, contact flattening pore filling, described validities discussed. Model calculations kinetics by filling theory also provided.
