摘要: This paper compares the mean acquisition time (MAT) performance of two serial search schemes over frequency-selective multipath Rayleigh fading channels. Both conventional cell-by-cell detection and novel joint two-cell are characterized. In contrast to majority published results considering only one correct timing state (H/sub 1/ cell) in uncertainty region pseudonoise (PN) sequence, this analyzes MAT with multiple states region. The comparison between shows that latter can achieve an improved at almost same complexity.
