摘要: Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) have recently gained wide attention as a way to provide Internet connectivity in hard-to-reach areas well big cities. The main problem of such networks is their limited bandwidth availability compared wired networks. Hence, efficient usage available communication resources crucial importance for WMNs. Peer-to-peer applications, these days, produce considerable amount traffic over the Internet. Such applications build own overlay network by not taking into account topology and status underlying infrastructure, so causing an inefficient utilization physical resources. This particularly severe Networks. In this paper we propose cross-layer solution P2P Bittorrent optimization WMNs, based on ALTO (Application Layer Traffic Optimization) Service defined IETF. Our able significantly optimize it does require any modification application. tests performed show reduction about 27% download time 66% crossing WMN borders.
