摘要: This chapter presents a review of current evidence on the influence immersion (defined in terms technical features system) user experience multimedia applications. Section 2.1 introduces concepts media enjoyment, presence, and Quality Experience (QoE) that frame our analysis from perspective. 2.2 discusses bounding effects multimodal perception previously defined metrics. 2.3 analyses relevant factors QoE, with emphasis those characterizing level delivered by system across four dimensions: inclusiveness, extensiveness, surrounding, vividness. 2.4 recent works integrating some these into multi-sensorial experiences highlights open issues research challenges to be tackled order deliver cost-effective solutions mass market.
