摘要: Objectives The objective of this study was to investigate if the on-screen displayed thermal index for bone (TIB) an adequate predictor derated spatial-peak temporal-average (ISPTA.3) and pulse-average (ISPPA.3) acoustic intensity in a selection clinical diagnostic ultrasound machines transducers. Methods Five scanners 10 transducers imaging 2D greyscale, color Doppler, pulsed wave both close far from transducer, with between 0.1 4.0, were calibrated resulting 103 unique measurements. Acoustic measurements performed bespoke 3-axis computer-controlled scanning tank using 200-µm diameter needle hydrophone. Results Significant but poor correlation observed intensities TIB. At TIB 0.1, ISPTA.3 range 0.51 – 50.49 mW/(cm)2 ISPPA.3 0.01–207.29 W/(cm)2. 1.1, 19.02 309.44 3.87–51.89 W/(cm)2. Conclusions The is intensity, potential bioeffects scanners.
