摘要: An efficient method for the isolation of pyruvate-producing mutants Torulopsis glabrata IFO 0005 was established. On mutagenesis parent strain, requiring polypeptone complete growth were isolated. Seven among one hundred auxotrophs produced higher concentrations pyruvate than strain. Among them, arginine (L-Arg) auxotrophic and an isoleucine (L-Ile) valine (L-Val) double mutant exhibited fermentative production from glucose T. X-15 X-17 required L-Arg growth. X-68 absolutely L-Ile L-Val These three strains (X-15, X-68) have more 10% yields best strain regarding productivity, X-15, accumulated 59.5 g/l free pyruvic acid (yield, 60.1%; conversion to added in 43 h) on a 3-l jar-fermentor scale.
