摘要: This study examined the effect of inoculation with plant-growth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) Pseudomonas mendocina Palleroni, alone or in combination an arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus, Glomus intraradices (Schenk & Smith) mosseae (Nicol Gerd.) Gerd. Trappe, on antioxidant enzyme activities (superoxide dismutase, catalase and total peroxidase activities), phosphatase nitrate reductase solute accumulation leaves Lactuca sativa L. cv. Tafalla affected by three different levels water stress. At moderate drought, bacterial G. intraradices, combination, stimulated significantly activity. severe fertilisation P. inoculation, either selected AM fungi, increased activity lettuce roots proline leaves. Total (POX) (CAT) response to whereas superoxide dismutase decreased. Inorganic both combined treatments PGPR fungus showed highest values leaf POX under drought. The CAT was recorded fertilised plants followed mendocina-inoculated grown stress conditions. These results support potential use a as inoculant alleviate oxidative damage produced
