摘要: Abstract Objective To study the influence of dietary intervention on plasma ghrelin levels in obese children and adolescents with anorexia nervosa (AN). Study design Prepubertal (n = 16) 16 anorexic were studied at three different points: clinical diagnosis after a reduction or recuperation 25% 50% initial BMI SD score. Controls included 21 Tanner growth stage 1 36 5 subjects. We analyzed their correlation leptin, insulin, insulin-like factor I (IGF-I), binding protein (IGFBP-1), 2 (IGFBP-2), 3 (IGFBP-3), integrated concentration hormone (ICGH) before intervention. Results At diagnosis, significantly decreased (52% control levels) increased AN (164% levels). After intervention, patients but without reaching even body mass index (BMI). In AN, normalized increase BMI. Ghrelin correlated negatively positively IGFBP-1 controls not diagnosis. The positive between was recovered Conclusions Plasma present opposite changes obesity suggesting that is good marker nutritional status.
