摘要: Abstract Twenty first century has witnessed remarkable achievements in green technology material science through the development of biocomposites. Oil palm fiber (OPF) extracted from empty fruit bunches is proven as a good raw for The cellulose content OPF range 43%–65% and lignin 13%–25%. A compilation morphology, chemical constituents properties reported by various researchers are collected presented this paper. suitability polymeric matrices such natural rubber, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, phenol formaldehyde, polyurethane, epoxy, polyester, etc. to form biocomposites recent past compiled. these composites viz ., physical, mechanical, water sorption, thermal, degradation, electrical properties, summerised. loading some improved strength resulting whereas less was observed cases. became more hydrophilic upon addition OPF.
