摘要: The MR imaging BI-RADS atlas includes a category for probably benign findings, and many radiologists recommend short-term interval follow-up breast lesions. However, the characteristics of those findings that could appropriately be considered are not well defined. This article reviews published retrospective prospective data regarding use cancer yield 3 assessment as morphology kinetics lesions may suitable follow-up. Consideration is also given to how costs, clinical indication examination, experience reader, availability comparisons affect category. Based on evidence available, an algorithm offered with examples guide determining if appropriate Additional research needed fully clarify distinct morphologic kinetic allow patients safely avoid biopsy without changing prognosis malignancy present.
