摘要: The objective of this study was to identify genomic regions associated with postweaning average daily gain (ADG) in swine. Two families were produced using sires obtained from the cross lines divergently selected for high and low growth rate. Sires mated 29 unrelated dams that 124 115 offspring. Average recorded every individual; mean ADG .593 ± .007 kg/d .619 .009 two families. Selective genotyping performed as a prescreening procedure potentially ADG. A total 75 genetic markers used between both Markers identified nominally significant ( P < .05) an individual marker analysis subsequently typed all individuals. still after complete family then reevaluated together flanking interval mapping analysis. single region on chromo- some 3, flanked by Sw2429 Sw251, second had logarithm odds score 2.9, which is suggestive linkage quantitative trait locus Differences .033 individuals inheriting alternative paternal alleles most marker.
