This can occur through: direct partitioning migrating constituents into the groundwater; alteration physiochemical properties and by indirect means (such as condensate vadose zone water contaminated gas). article examines use geochemical modeling useful tool for differentiating effects municipal solid waste (MSW) versus leachate on groundwater quality at MSW sites.
