摘要: This chapter presents a Gabor-DCT Features (GDF) method on color facial parts for face recognition. The novelty of the GDF is fourfold. First, four discriminative are used dealing with image variations. Second, Gabor filtered images each part grouped together based adjacent scales and orientations to form Multiple Scale Orientation Image Representation (MSMO-GIR). Third, MSMO-GIR first undergoes Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) frequency domain masking dimensionality redundancy reduction, then subject discriminant analysis extracting features. Finally, at decision level, similarity scores derived from all as well whole fused by means sum rule. Experiments Face Recognition Grand Challenge (FRGC) version 2 Experiment 4 CMU Multi-PIE database show feasibility proposed method.
