Capability of electronic-filter air purifier on airborne microorganism removal

摘要: The performance of the electronic-filter air purifier that uses principle electrostatic field on airborne fungi ( Aspergillus niger and Penicillium citrinum ) bacteria Staphylococcus epidermidis Bacillus subtilis removals was tested in this study. experiment conducted 8-m 3 chamber by injecting each type microorganism sampling bioaerosol at two height levels, 0.5 1.5 m. Since located floor with 0.67 m, microbe concentrations these levels were observed for any difference its performance. However, main objective to compare when turning off duration 4 hours. results could remove microbes from initial 34,000 - 80,000 cfu/m comply recommended concentration 500 within 30-40 min except B. needed longer time. level did not affect study confidence 99 %.
