摘要: Cardiovascular disease, which accounts for the highest morbidity and mortality in United States, has several major risk factors, including aging diabetes. Overweight obesity, especially abdominal have been increasingly implicated as independent factors development of cardiovascular disease. Metabolic and/or diabetic cardiomyopathy associated with excess body weight caused by chronic over-nutrition high-fat feeding. In initial stages, obesity is now understood to cause significant dysregulation cardiac fatty acid glucose metabolism. These abnormalities are due, part, increased oxidative stress, turn can deleterious effects on intracellular signaling pathways that control cellular growth proliferation. This increase stress coupled reduced anti-oxidant species metabolic pathways. The seen interstitial fibrosis diastolic dysfunction. Over time, evolving include hypertrophy systolic dysfunction, eventually leading heart failure.
