摘要: Left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy is a rare type of congenital characterized by prematurely arrested compaction the endocardial and myocardial fibers progressive deterioration left contractility. This entity genetically heterogeneous disorder has wide spectrum presentation from no symptoms to critical disabling congestive heart failure, which can appear at any age. The prognosis therefore varied. An elderly patient with underwent aortic valve replacement for associated regurgitation.Follow-up two years after surgery revealed an improved clinical condition recovered cardiac function. fourth known in noncompaction.
