摘要: The nonlinear reflectivity of semiconductor saturable absorber mirrors is investigated with ultrafast time-resolved and time-averaged measurements. relative contributions absorption bleaching induced are studied as a function fluence wavelength. impact on the stability continuous-wave mode-locking considered theoretically. Picosecond pulses produced from an Er/Yb waveguide laser using mirror, influence two-photon studied. A mirror exhibiting only used to stabilize GHz repetition rate active harmonically mode-locked fiber laser, improving supermode suppression by eliminating pulse dropouts. Thesis Supervisor: Erich P.
