RSSI based indoor and outdoor distance estimation for localization in WSN

摘要: Research has revealed that the correlation between distance and RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) values is key of ranging localization technologies in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In this paper, an model estimates nodes WSNs presented. The performance evaluated analyzed a real system deployment indoor outdoor environment by performing empirical measurement using Crossbow IRIS motes. Our result shows there less error estimation compared to environment. results these evaluations would contribute towards obtaining accurate locations nodes.
