摘要: β-type titanium alloys composed of non-toxic and allergy-free elements with low modulus are getting much attention for biomedical applications. The author has developed Ti-29Nb-13Ta-4.6Zr (TNTZ) where Nb, Ta, Zr showing Young's modulus. Focusing on TNTZ, biological mechanical biocompatibility including fatigue characteristics, fretting wear functionalities such as super elastic shape memory effect, bioactive surface modification high applications described.
