The DPLCH spread an Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor (OVSF) code CL (502) of length 256 which distinct from those OVSF codes assigned other channels the (913). When power-up function (PUF) received (913), sub-channel amplitude then modified relative being using gain module GL (503) prior combination (504) with channels.
