摘要: The ongoing increases of line speed in the Internet backbone combined with need for increased functionality network devices presents a major challenge designers routers. These demands call use reprogrammable hardware to provide required performance and at all layers. Field Programmable Port Extender (FPX) provides such an environment development networking components hardware. We present framework streamline simplify applications that process ATM cells, AAL5 frames, Protocol (IP) packets UDP datagrams directly also describe highspeed IP routing module "OBIWAN" built on top this framework.
