摘要: To investigate whether free radical metabolism is changed due to isoflurane treatment and, if so, elucidate the role of in nephrotoxicity. Fifteen guinea pigs were used study. Five treated with oxygen, five oxygen and controls. Animals exposed three times. Each was performed for 30 min once a day consecutive days. Activities enzymes, Superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px); values antioxidant parameters, potential (AOP), non-enzymatic scavenger activity (NSSA) oxidation resistance (OR) level an oxidant parameter namely, malondialdehyde (MDA) determined renal tissues groups. Blood also obtained serum creatinine urea analyses. AOP, NSSA, SOD CAT activities decreased; (0.0188 ± 0.0026 vs 0.0156 0.0015,P < 0.025; 8.72 1.80vs 6.40 1.22,P 0.05; 76.71 18.54vs 52.79 1 1.68,P 71.26 15.58vs 55.39 8.83;P 0.05, respectively) but, MDA level, OR value GSH-Px increased (10.89 1.57 5.87 2.97,P 0.0 1; 0.84 0.34vs 2.28 1.39,P 1.45 0.83 3.45 1.20,P 0.01, kidney from isoflurane-treated group compared No differences observed between control groups regard all analysis parameters except GSH-Px. Isoflurane impairs defence system this stress may play part isoflurane-induced toxicity.
