摘要: Variations in the ambient physical parameters ocean may be such as to change a depth dependent profile with weak range dependence from guiding antiguiding. This paper examines conversion of an initially well-guided high frequency adiabatic mode into non-guided sound field after passing through transitional region. A theory is developed which smoothly patches parabolic equation for domain onto trapped fields on side and leaky modes non-guiding side. The implemented numerically where it cannot reduced simpler asymptotic forms. Numerical results dominant model confirm analytical features theory, reveal clearly phenomenology initial confinement surface duct, subsequent detachment "beaming" deep water transition antiguiding environment.
