摘要: The etiology of the foot deformity in patients with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease has not previously been discussed relation to extrinsic muscle function around and ankle. Eight adult a strong familial history were evaluated, their findings remarkably similar. All demonstrated marked cavus that was secondary forefoot equinus associated contracture plantar fascia varus calcaneus. weakness tibialis anterior peroneus brevis muscles, whereas longus posterior calf muscles rated as good normal. Based on relative strengths these progression weakness, authors hypothesize observed is anterior, brevis, intrinsic natural antagonists, causing most noted patients.
