摘要: A study was undertaken on genetic variation in resistance to infection by Ichthyophthirius multifiliis two goodeid (Ameca splendens and Ilyodon xantusi) poeciliid species (Xiphophorus maculatus Xiphophorus variatus), among four strains of X. (red, red wagtail, yellow comet tail, blue). Analysis data performed with a generalized linear interactive modelling package (GLIM). Partitioning the such that minimal attributable each several factors computed. Size fish, parasite isolate, temperature/tank effects, various interactions all affect levels. Removal these effects allowed identification highly significant differences both inter- intraspecific resistance. Three distinct groups fish were identified terms their Species recently derived from wild populations (the goodeids) more susceptible than which have much longer history domestication. The blue strain had significantly higher other three strains.
