摘要: Prophylactic metronidazole was found to be an effective means of preventing 'dry socket' after routine dental extractions. The oral anaerobic bacterial may implicated therefore in the development disorder. It has been confirmed this study that occurs following three per cent extractions and almost exclusively mandible. causes condition are probably numerous even vary from patient patient, but control infection by anerobic organisms important its prevention or early resolution. prophylactic administration (Flagyl) shown a simple method which would suggest implication socket'. drug appears free side effects when dosage 200 mgs eight hourly for days is given.
