摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses plasma phospholipids and triglycerides in four experimental lines genetically different their fattening. Obesity has been shown to be associated with elevated lipids hypothyroid chickens. Comparison of lipoprotein profiles fasted fed chickens from the selected fat (FL) lean (LL) that FL birds exhibit higher concentrations very low density lipoproteins (VLDL) high lipoproteins. Chicks were brooded same floor pen. They pelleted starter grower diets containing maize, wheat, soybean meal, defatted meat minerals vitamins, without added fat. Blood samples taken at three seven weeks age birds. was collected by intracardiac puncture EDTA a small amount heparin as an anticoagulant. Significant differences observed between exhibiting significantly fattening characteristics. However, intra-line correlations fatness weak lower than those for triglycerides. Experimental selection could carried out investigate use criterion leanness.
