摘要: Abstract A computer program that permits one to resolve β-ray and conversion-electron energy spectra into their various components, taking account experimental distortions, has been written. The is designed treat taken with low-resolution detectors in which distortions of the true are quite serious. Effects upon continuous β handled by an iterative least-squares fitting technique. An initial set endpoint energies E 0 i for components assumed, spectrum corresponding computed from Fermi treatment decay, distorted use response functions appropriate detection system resulting calculated compared observed spectrum. Adjustments intensities made a new iteration performed. process continued until termination requirements met. Output information includes final values uncertainties values, as well statistical goodness-of-fit data. One main advantages this it retains all present As written, calculation plastic scintillators used under conditions scattering serious problem. However, entirely contained within subroutine can be easily modified other systems.
