摘要: Pilot tests were run to determine the applicability of concepts linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) description mechanical behavior initially cracked specimens advanced fiber composite laminates. It was found that failure mechanisms in such largely crack-dominated and LEFM procedures applicable even when apparent mechanism not explicitly dominated by a starter crack.
