摘要: Background Randomized clinical trials have shown that multivessel coronary angioplasty is feasible and provides similar long-term survival as bypass surgery in selected patients. However, the higher need for repeat intervention, particular, artery graft surgery, remains a problem. The objective of this study was to test hypothesis stenting safe effective reducing interventions, surgery. Methods Results Between March 1993 June 1995, 100 consecutive patients (243 lesions) had stenting. High-pressure stent optimization used all Procedural success achieved 97% lesions; 2 (2%) required emergency Angiographic follow-up obtained 89% at 5.2±2.5 months. restenosis occurred 22% lesions, but 37% ≥1 lesion with restenosis. Clinical 21±10 months: target revascularization needed 30 (30%), 28 (28%) (2%); overall rate 96% (2% noncardiac death). Conclusions Multivessel can be performed high low Compared historical results percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, who undergo less survival.
