摘要: Innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) contribute to host defence and tissue repair but can induce immunopathology. Recent work has revealed tissue-specific roles for ILCs; however, the question of how a small population large effects on immune homeostasis remains unclear. We identify two mechanisms that ILC3s utilise exert their within intestinal tissue. ILC-driven colitis depends production granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF), which recruits maintains inflammatory monocytes. ILCs present in intestine also enter exit cryptopatches highly dynamic process. During colitis, mobilize from cryptopatches, process be inhibited by blocking GM-CSF, mobilization precedes foci elsewhere Together these data IL-23R/GM-CSF axis ILC3 as key control point accumulation innate effector spatio-temporal dynamics response.
